Traditional Oatflake Porridge
The perfect breakfast for a cold winters morning.
- 1 L Milk
- 100g Porridge Oats
- 50g Yeats Country Organic Crème Fraiche
- Bring 1L of milk to the boil. Sprinkle in 100g porridge oats. Bring back to the boil, reduce heat and allow to simmer for approx. 5 mins – stirring occasionally.
- Finally stir in 50g of Yeats Country crème fraiche to give a rich smooth consistency.
- Serve immediately or allow to cool and store in fridge until required. Porridge may be reheated as required.
Serve with stewed prunes, stewed apricots or even a teaspoon of whiskey!!
