It's often the simplest things in life that provide the most pleasure - like a really well made soft cheese, spread on a slice of warm crusty bread.

Today as I travelled to work I listened to the proposed H.S.E cut backs in the Home Help Service and while there is much that needs effective restructuring and management change in this service I couldn't help but feel our society, as manifested by current government policy, is simply cruel.

Denmark has announced its intention to introduce a tax on food high in saturated fat which the Danish Government claims will improve the health of the population.

Will I in the weeks and months to come manage to keep this blog going, who knows? But if I do, then maybe I will not only get to share with you what’s going on from time to time but little snippets (censored of course) from our past.
